Riding is more than a sport; It’s a lifestyle
You and your friends are well into the beers, when all of the sudden you spot it! A crazy gash in your board, unbearable to be rode on for even a single day, the board doctor comes out. He is likely wearing his snowboard gear, at this point thinking it is a good idea (beer may have helped in this decision), and takes your board on to the porch with an iron and some wax. Only after making sure he has waxed not only your board but his pants, the job is complete and you will ride yet another day on your beloved board.
By
this time, you’re all feeling pretty smashed, pretty tired and ready
to ride big mountain powder… The lights slowly dim, and people fade
away one by one so they’ll be ready to rock 6am the next day. Usually
there are those few people that make it till 3 or 4 in the morning,
none the less, everyone is awake and ready to go no matter what
state the next day! Does this sound familiar to you at all? Yes,
Snowboarding it is not only a sport but a lifestyle and, one I am
proud to call mine.
